Digital Paint

Anyone else a fan of digital painting?  As I continue to research contemporary illustration I've noticed a natural migration towards the computer as a drawing aid.  No more messy oils, no more hesitation, these folks attack their drawings via wacom and the results are rather shiny.
I know, I know, they're just pixels, they don't truly express the human condition and the computer acts to remove the artists hand from the work but I can't help but be impressed at the sight of perfect transparent overlays and crisp bold colors.  Blah blah...here are some cool sights I recommend:

Maybe with a little buttering up Herb will allow for some digital painting tutorials eh?

    I can only hope Herb will allow us to do something similar.
